On Saturday evening we attended the annual Pallet Track summit, gala dinner, and awards evening at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
It was a fantastic day and evening starting with the Pallet Track board offering insights into another fantastic year for the Network. We then had the opportunity to listen to a wider industry outlook from guest speaker Richard Burnett of the RHA. This was followed by LBC’s Nick Ferrari with some very interesting stories about his career as a political journalist and his view on what may or may not lie ahead for the UK in these uncertain times.
The evening dinner and awards were hosted by Les Dennis and like a true pro, kept the evening flowing nicely. We then had the witty humour of Sean Lock to bring us up to the awards ceremony.
On to the awards…
We are delighted to announce 2018 was the most successful year for Mobile.
The company picked up no fewer than three awards.
2018 Most improved Sales for the Network (the second time in three years).
2018 Central Deport of The Year – completely unexpected and a massive thank you for our fellow members for voting.
2018 Platinum Award that recognises depots who have achieved 99% performance or above for at least 10 months of the year.
The company would like to thank all drivers, warehouse and office staff who contributed to this fantastic achievement, it further underlines why we are a People Powered organisation.
Finally, from everyone at Mobile, have a fantastic Christmas and here’s to a very prosperous 2019.
