Mobile acquires PDX Logistics
Mobile People.Powered.Logistics Ltd Head Quartered in Birmingham, England announces the acquisition of PDX Logistics Limited located in Buckinghamshire. PDX has had a long history of providing high quality 3PL warehousing and Distribution services. Geoff Morgan the founder will work closely with Mobile to transition the business over the next 12 months.
Matthew Marriott, Managing Director of Mobile comments “We are delighted that Claire Norton a current shareholder in PDX will take the new role of Branch Director and support us in transitioning PDX into the Mobile family.”
The combined business will generate in 2020 some 261,000 Palletised collections and deliveries for its shareholding and membership in Pallet Track Limited making it a major Pallet Network distribution business within the UK. Mobile’s System load product which is focused on contract haulage will be a key growth area for PDX Logistics over the coming 24 months. The combined companies will employ over 100 people and operate over 60 HGV’s plus LWB vans for rapid delivery solutions.

Revenue in the past 4 years has dramatically grown at Mobile allowing it to use its natural growth to make its first acquisition. Revenue has gone from £2.5m in 2015 to an expected £12m in 2020 making it one of Birmingham’s fastest growing Independent Transport and Logistics businesses.
