Mobile People Powered Logistics Supports LoveBrum’s ‘Bags for Brummies’ Campaign with Final Deliveries to SIFA Fireside
Mobile People Powered Logistics proudly played a key role in LoveBrum’s Bags for Brummies campaign, part of Birmingham’s Biggest Secret Santa. This heartwarming initiative brings essential care items to homeless individuals while encouraging businesses and individuals to pack as many bags as possible to spread holiday cheer.
Throughout December, Mobile People Powered Logistics collected and delivered care bags from generous businesses across the West Midlands. The company’s facility in Castle Vale served as an official drop-off and collection point, helping to streamline the process and make it easier for participants to contribute.
On the final day of the campaign, Friday, December 15, company director Ian Jolly took to the road, personally overseeing the final collections and deliveries across the region. The last stop on this meaningful journey was at SIFA Fireside, a Birmingham-based charity that provides crucial support to homeless and vulnerable people.
Ian Jolly reflected on the experience:
“It’s been a privilege to support LoveBrum’s Bags for Brummies campaign. Seeing our Castle Vale facility serve as a hub for generosity and being able to personally deliver the final bags to SIFA Fireside has been incredibly rewarding. Knowing these donations will make a real difference to people in need this winter is what it’s all about.”
Delivering Community Spirit
The campaign encouraged participants to pack bags filled with essential items, such as:
Warm clothing
Toiletries
Non-perishable food items
As a long supporter of LoveBrum, Mobile People Powered Logistics ensured every donation reached its intended destination throughout December. From coordinating collections at their Castle Vale facility to making deliveries to shelters and charities, the team worked tirelessly to support the campaign’s mission.
The Power of Collaboration
Birmingham’s Biggest Secret Santa added a unique competitive element this year, with businesses striving to top the leaderboard by packing the most bags. The result was a community-wide effort that combined holiday spirit, friendly rivalry, and tangible support for those in need.
The final day of collections and deliveries—personally carried out by Ian Jolly—marked the culmination of weeks of hard work and generosity, with SIFA Fireside stepping in to distribute the bags to their final recipients.
Tim Andrews co-founder of LoveBrum expressed
“Its the importance of local corporate organisations coming together to support individuals who are vulnerable at this time of year. LoveBrum celebrates its tenth anniversary next year and urges more businesses to come together to help volunteer-led organisations that are working hard to make our City a better place to live and work in”.
