Mobile People Powered Logistics Invests £500k+ in Benelux expansion

May 2025 – Birmingham & Aylesbury, UK – Mobile People Powered Logistics is proud to announce sustained, double-digit growth across its UK operations, driven by a strategic investment exceeding £500,000 in fleet, staffing, and infrastructure.

The investment supports rising demand in the UK domestic logistics market and coincides with a 15% increase in revenue during Q1 2025.

📈 Strong Performance Across Birmingham and Aylesbury

Both our Birmingham and Aylesbury depots are on track to deliver a combined turnover of over £21 million by the end of the year. New contract wins across both locations have expanded our service capabilities, reinforced our customer offering, and supported our growing presence in premium UK logistics.

🚛 Fleet and Warehouse Upgrades

To improve operational capacity, we’ve added new vehicles and warehouse equipment tailored for rapid trailer offloading and efficient cross-dock operations.

At our Aylesbury site, we’ve also expanded our infrastructure with a new mezzanine floor, enabling the launch of international logistics services to and from the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).

👷‍♂️ Creating Jobs and Strengthening Operations

To support this expansion, we’ve grown our team by 12 new staff, bringing our direct workforce to 93 employees. In addition, we work with 16 to 20 agency drivers daily to manage peak volumes. Like many in the sector, we continue to navigate ongoing driver shortages, particularly during peak holiday periods.

🌍 New International Division: UK–Benelux Freight Services

In a major milestone, Mobile has launched a dedicated international freight division through a joint venture with BF Global Logistics BV. This new arm allows us to offer:

• Customs clearance services

• Bonded cross-dock capabilities

• Expedited road freight to Benelux

• A groupage departure system for reliable and consistent European deliveries
